Today Kylie had her first experience with yard work. I can tell you that she wasn't impressed with the messiness of it all. I was finally motivated to pull the weeds from the flower beds and plant some new fall flowers. Since Kylie is now two I really can't use the "we have two small kids so that makes it ok to have the worst yard on the street" excuse anymore. It was actually nice to spend some time outside with Kylie. I gave her a stick and she pretended to help. For the most part she just stood over me and provided running commentary on how dirty it was and ew nasty, etc etc. Logan slept inside the whole time. Eric decided it was because he knew yard work will someday be his responsibility.
On a side note, UT lost to UGA tonight. I'm sure no one is surprised but who thinks the starting QB looks like Eric Johnson? My friend Craig says Eric looks like Bobby Flay. I'll let you be the judge.......

The QB really does look like Eric at that age. Now that I look at Bobby Flay's picture, I can see the resemblance but I never once looked at the Iron Chef and thought of my son.
